my birthday/christmas comes once a year and its my favorite time :). I get to see my uncles, aunts, grandparents, cousins and everyone!
ive had the craziest dinners the past couple days. Its been nothing but laughing, my uncle being an idiot, dancing and just hanging out.

Today: came up to Vermont on a snowmobiling trip! Went out this morning at 11am and didnt come back till 6pm from the forest. We drove out 50 miles with the snowmobiles into the forest and mountains. It was amazing. I got stuck about 3 miles out when my snowmobile stopped starting because of a spark plug haha. It was pretty ccreepy being in the middle of the Vermont mountains at 6pm when it was pitch black here in the north. But really fun with everyone

I arrived in Nashville yesterday after 2 flights, one to NC and then one to Nashville.

The gap between life and death could become a lot bigger in the next few decades. Thanks to a certain Biogerontologist named Aubrey de Grey.

In a few decades, (Aubrey de Grey believes as little as 25 years) we could begin living lives that last 1,000 years. Aubrey even dares to say we could live longer (FOREVER)! Now this may sound far fetched to you. Sure did for me. But I believe in my heart and mind that this could be possible. Well, maybe not living forever. Maybe not 1,000 years. But substantially longer... at least.

The scientists are working on a project called "Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence" (SENS). It is a 7 pronged attack on the aging process. I would get into details but you'd get bored with me explaining it. Trust me. Instead, here's a couple links to a wikipedia page with some very interesting info on the project, and also below that I'll add another interesting page. The second link even has some questions that Aubrey de Grey was asked and that he answered. Try to read some of both links. I think you'll leave the pages thinking a little differently about the limitations of us humans.

This movie is by far one of the best movies I have ever seen.

The acting was amazing. Heath Ledger WAS the joker, I can honestly see why he went crazy because I could have actually believed that the joker was a real person and not heath ledger acting.

The action was ridiculous. They flipped over an 18 wheeler straight over itself vertically.

This movie is definitely the best movie of the summer by far.

fathers day so far consisted of going shopping for my dad with my mom and sister. Bought my dad a tommy bahama shirt and these socks that he is obsessed with haha.

I even bought a cute present for jena, just to get her something.
